Retired FDNY Chief Joseph Pfeifer, the first fire chief to respond to the World Trade Center on 9/11, remembers the last time he saw his younger brother Kevin, a fellow firefighter who was killed when the towers collapsed. Kevin approached him in the North Tower lobby before heading upstairs with his engine company, Pfeifer tells CBS News’ Tony Dokoupil. They looked at each other but said nothing, unsure if they would see each other again. It was the last time Pfeifer ever saw his brother.
