I do not retwist dry hair. I dry the ends and remove excess water before starting. I retwist fast so once I’m done their hair is usually still wet so I blow dry some more. I don’t always do this and it would take the locs forever to dry. Even on a basic retwist I blow dry before hitting the dryer to minimize their time and ensure the locs get dry.
