Bean bag tapping is one of my new favorite sensory strategies. All you need is a bean bag to do it, although in a pinch I’ve also used a squishy sensory ball too. You firmly, but gently tap along the arms, legs, and you can even do their back to provide amazing deep pressure input into their whole body. This type of input is extremely calming and grounding to the sensory system. It’s an easy activity to add into your daily routine or even to use as a sensory break as needed throughout the day. I
