This impressive time-lapse of a cumulonimbus cloud was captured by Ben Hales (@boops_333 on Instagram) over Melbourne, Victoria on Wednesday. Cumulonimbus are the largest cloud of all. They form in the lower layer of the atmosphere (below 2.5 km) but extend through all three layers right to the top of the atmosphere (up to 16 km high)—often with 'anvil tops'.
