The Reign, an iconic South African artwork by Johannesburg-based artist Mary Sibande. On show in Comparisons and Contrasts, as part of the exhibition, ‘Breaking down the Walls – 150 years of art collecting’ at the Iziko South African National Gallery. Visitors are encouraged to view works from different time periods, made in different media or contrasting in some other way.
