Cold-stunned sea turtles have begun to arrive at Mystic Aquarium. Cold-stunning occurs in the winter and causes the animals to lose their ability to swim, feed, and navigate due to dropping water temperatures. From diagnostics and bloodwork to individualized treatment plans, our Animal Rescue Program is monitoring each turtle closely to help them regain strength and return to their ocean home. | Mystic Aquarium
