Travis Andrew Steele (born November 12, 1981) is an American college basketball coach, and current head basketball coach at Miami (OH). [1] He recently served as the head coach at Xavier. [2]

Jan 25, 2025 · Steele became the 28th men’s basketball head coach in Miami history on March 31, 2022 after completing a four-year stint as the head coach at rival Xavier University. He posted a 70-50 mark with Xavier and led the Musketeers to two postseason berths.

Xavier University Athletics and Head Men’s Basketball Coach Coach Travis Steele mutually agreed to part ways on March 16, 2022. Steele finished 70-50 overall in four seasons as the head coach, including two NIT berths.
