Apr 15, 2023 · Yes it works fine. I did have to install 8bitdo ultimate software and pair the N64 controller to the adapter, but that's just standard protocol. After that it was smooth sailing. RetroArch even recignized the switch N64 controller as an N64 controller. I didn't have to do any button mapping.

I have heard that there is some latency issues, rotating the control stick quickly doesn't work (spin attacks in OOT), and sensitivity is of in FPS games (goldeneye). Just go with what f7pepsi mentioned, even if you have to buy a controller.

There is a wee bit of movement when centred (at least on my controller) so may need to play around with deadzone settings a little.
