WICHITA FALLS, Texas (KAUZ) - The Downtown Wichita Falls Development has announced the ‘Loving Local Bingo’, this year including 24 different local businesses. This event is held in February to help bring the community to the local businesses that may not see traffic as the temperature gets low.

After multiple delays, a 73-year-old man is facing a judge and jury more than four years after he was accused of fatally shooting James Walsh on his porch in downtown Wichita Falls more than four years ago.

The same jury took about the same amount of time on Tuesday to find Wilson guilty of murder in the shooting death of 62-year-old James Walsh. Walsh was killed on the porch of a residence in the 1200 block of Austin Avenue shortly before 10:30 p.m. on July 31, 2020. He was shot once in the torso and once in the head.
