The Minnesota Vikings wrapped up the preseason on Friday night with a loss to the Titans on the road. They fought hard to come back and make it a game late, but they ultimately couldn't pull off the win.

None of the names included in the first wave of cuts are surprising outside of quarterback Brett Rypien. It’s not as though the Vikings were going to keep four quarterbacks, but Rypien may have been a candidate for the practice squad. With three signal callers on the 53-man roster though, that likely became redundant.

Undrafted rookie quarterback Max Brosmer has impressed all preseason, and now the former Gopher looks set to earn a spot on the Vikings’ final roster.
