Hours before Bruce Springsteen and the E Street Band headlined Sea.Hear.Now festival in Asbury Park, New Jersey on Sunday, the frontman surprised fans with appearances at Trey Anastasio Band and the Gaslight Anthem's sets earlier in the day.

The surprise appearances follow Springsteen’s unexpected performance at the Stone Pone Saturday night at a Sea Hear Now after party show, where he performed a handful of Blues covers within the Tangiers Blues Band, led by Danny Clinch, Springsteen’s photographer and one of the organizers of the festival.

Bruce's own set included a selection of early, Asbury Park-related songs for the first time in years, and the first performance by Patti Scialfa since she revealed her cancer diagnosis.
