Starting January 1, 2025, nearly half of U.S. states will implement minimum wage increases, benefiting an estimated 9.2 million workers.

Ohio and 21 other states will increase their minimum wages. One local business said every little bit will help in light of inflation impacting their everyday lives.

There are 21 states that will be raising the minimum wage on Wednesday — affecting approximately 9.2 million workers. In addition, 48 cities and counties have passed their own minimum wage increases.
