The state of Ohio has purchased a 79,000-square-foot office building in Bedford for $4.8 million with plans to convert it into a new juvenile detention facility.

Ohio lawmakers could pass legislation in the coming weeks to restrict or ban Delta-8 products in the state, nearly a year after Gov. Mike DeWine began pressing them to take action.
