Thousands attend 'No Kings' protests Dallas-Fort Worth despite rain
The No Kings Day of Defiance has been organized to reject authoritarianism, billionaire-first politics, and the militarization of the country’s democracy, according to a statement by organizers.
The rally was the second against President Donald Trump since he took office. Many held signs deeming him authoritarian or fascist.
As part of nationwide protests against the Trump Administration, people gathered for planned events in North Texas, including in Dallas and Collin County.
The rain-soaked crowd made its way from Kiener Plaza down Market Street shouting slogans about No Kings and against ICE.
