While we’re all waiting for official news about the Switch 2, Nintendo has gone ahead and announced a very different kind of console. The company is teasing a collaboration with Lego that will see the original grey brick known as a Game Boy rendered in Lego blocks.

Nintendo has officially announced the release of a Lego Game Boy. It is scheduled to drop in October 2025. This collaboration between two globally beloved brands, Nintendo and Lego, has left fans of gaming and building block enthusiasts buzzing.

There have been plenty of Lego Nintendo kits already on the market, from interactive Mario sets to that fantastic NES recreation. This Game Boy idea is my favorite of all, though. Maybe it's because I still have so many memories of mine. October is a while away, but if you want to make one in the meantime, here's a model you could try.
