MINNEAPOLIS – Ha-Seong Kim, the Rays’ big offseason free agency acquisition, made his debut on Friday after recovering from offseason surgery on his right shoulder. Now the team is hoping he’ll avoid a quick return to the injured list.

Tampa Bay Rays shortstop Ha-Seong Kim finally got to join the team in their series opener against the Minnesota Twins after months of rehabbing a shoulder injury. In the top of the seventh inning, his debut took a scary turn.

After missing the first half of the season due to shoulder surgery, newly signed infielder Ha-Seong Kim is set to make his debut for the Rays on Friday.
