President Donald Trump and French President Emmanuel Macron shared another long, aggressive handshake while meeting at the signing of the Gaza peace agreement in Egypt.

In addition to the U.S. president and Egyptian leader, a number of delegations from countries which have tensions between themselves are at the peace summit: India and Pakistan; Azerbaijan and Armenia;

President Donald Trump arrived in Egypt on Monday for a global summit on Gaza's future as he tries to advance peace in the Middle East after visiting Israel to celebrate a U.S.

"The summit aims to end the genocidal Israeli war on the Gaza Strip, boost efforts toward lasting peace, and usher in a new era of regional security," according to Egyptian media. The Arab and Muslim world is optimistic about the Sharm El- Sheikh summit which is taking place in Egypt.

The prime minister has arrived in Egypt ahead of an international peace summit where the peace plan for Gaza is due to be signed. Sir Keir Starmer will pay "particular tribute" to US President Donald Trump at the gathering in Sharm El-Sheikh, Downing Street has said.

Indonesia is believed to be the only Southeast Asian nation attending the summit on the Gaza war agreement, and one of the few attending countries that has not established diplomatic relations with Israel.
