Dallas Cowboys running back Jaydon Blue shared an injury update after his ankle was banged up on Friday night, and it's great news for his NFL Week 1 status.

Cowboys rookie running back Jaydon Blue made his preseason debut Friday night and scored his first touchdown. But his night didn't end the way he wanted it to end. The Cowboys have ruled out Blue with an ankle injury.

"It sounds like the MRI came back pretty clean," Schottenheimer told reporters via The Athletic's Jon Machota. The comment matters because of this: If Parsons misses game action while healthy, he stands to lose paychecks worth north of $1 million per week.
