A late own-goal by goalkeeper Weverton took Chelsea through to the Club World Cup semifinals on Friday (Saturday in Manila) as the Premier League side edged Palmeiras of Brazil, 2-1, in a last-eight tie that had been lit up by a moment of magic from young star Estevao Willian.

The Brazilian club embraces being the underdog, and manager Abel Ferreira asked for Philly's support on July 4: “It can be a good opportunity for local people to join with us against the English."
