A fan has filed a $100 million lawsuit against the NFL after Shedeur Sanders' shocking slide in the draft, claiming to have been emotionally harmed.

Sanders' draft slide surprised everyone -- one fan so much that he is suing the NFL for $100 million in punitive damages, "for the harm caused to the Plaintiff and the impact of the NFL's actions on his emotional well being," according to court documents, via MSNBC.

Sanders was rated as the No. 23 overall player and the No. 2 quarterback in the class by Bleacher Report's NFL Scouting Department. His slide out of Days 1 and 2 was the story of the draft, as he fell to the fifth round and was the sixth quarterback taken at No. 144 overall.
