The NFL players who make it to the Super Bowl always sit out the Pro Bowl. This is nothing new. But this year, the NFL announced the final rosters, and there are several players who made deep playoff runs, but didn’t make it to the Super Bowl, who have also opted out of playing in the 2025 Pro Bowl Games.
Drake Maye earns NFL Pro Bowl honors
This season, the Patriots had one Pro Bowl player in special teamer Brendan Schooler, who dropped out of the games due to surgery. Maye is the first Patriots offensive player to be named to the Pro Bowl since 2021 when then-rookie quarterback Mac Jones was named to the team as an alternate.
