The first major failure of Blue Origin's new heavy-launch system could create delays to its ambition to help NASA and the Trump administration return to the Moon.

Blue Origin looks to join SpaceX as the only companies to fly a rocket booster for a 2nd time aiming for liftoff of a New Glenn from Cape Canaveral on Sunday morning.

Amazon paid about $1.8 billion last year to Blue Origin, the aerospace company owned by its founder and board chair Jeff Bezos — nearly triple the amount the year before — as shareholders weigh a proposal citing his business interests outside Amazon as potential conflicts of interest.
