George Stephanopoulos asked JD Vance on ABC’s “This Week” about bribery accusations facing White House border czar Tom Homan.
Nobody puts JD Vance in a corner. The vice president slammed ABC News host and longtime Trump critic George Stephanopoulos after the journalist abruptly cut to commercial during their heated exchange on Sunday morning.
Vice President JD Vance confirmed to ABC "This Week" co-anchor George Stephanopoulos that Hamas has said they are holding 20 living hostages, and that those hostages are expected to be released in the next 24 hours as President Donald Trump was headed to the region later Sunday to mark the occasion.
After Vance responded that Homan “did not take a bribe” and characterized discussion of the subject as “a ridiculous smear,” Stephanopoulos said: “I’m not sure you answered the question. Are you saying that he did not accept the $50,000?”
Illinois Governor JB Pritzker blasted the “tidal wave of lies” from JD Vance just moments after the vice president suggested he might be a criminal.
The visit comes as the White House has noticed some Republican lawmakers appear to be reticent to redraw maps they approved - and praised - just a few years ago.
Appearing on "This Week" after Vance, Pritzker told Stephanopoulos that he was “not afraid” of Trump’s threats, which have ramped up recently against many of the president’s political foes, including former FBI Director James Comey and New York Attorney General Letitia James.
Vance Joseph and the Broncos’ defense saved an entire organization from a truly uncomfortable nine-hour flight back from London on Sunday.
