The Detroit Tigers game saw them grab a 7-6 lead in the fifth inning after being down 6-1, but Jack Flaherty blew the lead to the KC Royals.

Despite losing the series, the Royals ensured there wouldn’t be a Motor City sweep at Comerica Park. First baseman Vinnie Pasquantino spearheaded a six-run third inning as the Royals batted around against Tigers starter Jack Flaherty.

Anyone who has lamented Jack Flaherty’s inconsistency of late didn’t have much reason to stop following Sunday.
