Responding officers found a woman outside the residence with a gunshot wound and two more people shot inside the back of the home. Emergency medical personnel took the three injured people to a hospital.

Christmas Day mass shooting on the northeast side of Indianapolis left one person dead, according to a press release from the Indianapolis Metropolitan Police Department. Four others were injured. Police said they detained one suspect with non-fatal injuries.
