Cam Johnson would be a phenomenal player to add to the Hornets roster. He can shoot and drive, and he plays small forward. That's a position the Hornets could upgrade. He also played some of his college ball at UNC, so he's a bit of a local legend who won a national championship.

Nets guard Cam Thomas, who missed over a month in November and December due to a left hamstring strain, suffered a new strain in the same hamstring during the team’s game on Thursday vs. Milwaukee, the Nets announced Saturday.

The Grizzlies are looking to acquire Cam Johnson after they were npt able to get a deal done for Dorian Finney-Smith.

Considering the Brooklyn Nets dealt Dennis Schroder to the Golden State Warriors, they'll likely have a fire sale soon. If Johnson became available, he could be the hottest name for a mid-season acquirement. He's averaged 19.1 points on 48.8% shooting, 4.4 rebounds and 3.1 assists. He's shot 42.3% from 3 on 7.6 attempts.

And perhaps another contender has entered the sweepstakes for Brooklyn Nets forward Cameron Johnson. That would be none other than the Indiana Pacers, according to NBA insider Marc Stein of The Stein Line.
