Some Aliquippa junior high football players were hurt Saturday morning when the school bus taking them to a football game at Pine-Richland was involved in an accident in Economy , school officials and Beaver County 911 said.

Several members of a Pittsburgh-area junior high school football team were injured when their bus was involved in a crash Saturday morning.

The team was about 15 minutes away from its first scrimmage of the season when its bus crashed Saturday morning, sending more than 20 people to the hospital.
