"At today's Corporate Management Policy Briefing, we announced that Nintendo Switch software will also be playable on the successor to Nintendo Switch," Nintendo posted in a social media update attributed to company president Shintaro Furukawa. Nintendo has announced that the Switch 2 will play games made for the original console. Even though the company still hasn’t officially announced the device, it’s been dropping hints about what the successor to the Switch will have to offer for nearly a year now.
