After a fourth straight disappointing early playoff exit for the Milwaukee Bucks, it's long past the time we start asking the question if Giannis Antetokounmpo should start considering his options elsewhere.
The Miami Heat‘s offseason is expected to be a busy one. Pat Riley will undoubtedly look to improve a roster that got swept in the first round of the playoffs. The most prominent name being linked with the franchise is Milwaukee Bucks superstar Giannis Antetokounmpo.
Should Antetokounmpo request a trade, Greg Swartz of Bleacher Report proposed that the Houston Rockets trade Jalen Green, Jabari Smith Jr., Cam Whitmore, Aaron Holiday, a 2025 first-round pick and a 2027 first-round pick to the Bucks for the future Hall of Famer.
The Bucks do not control their own first-round draft pick until 2031. They have 35% of a maxed-out salary cap committed to a 34-year-old Damian Lillard, who tore his left Achilles tendon in the playoffs. The back end of their rotation is full of free agents. The front end is barren beneath Antetokounmpo.
