One year ago today, the Vancouver Canucks decided to push their chips into the middle to grab Elias Lindholm from the Calgary Flames. BOSTON — It may be cruel to note that Elias Lindholm is now without a five-on-five point in his last 13 games. The first-year Boston Bruin scored a short-handed goal and assisted on a power-play strike in the Bruins’ 6-2 loss to the Winnipeg Jets on Thursday. It was Lindholm’s fifth multi-point game with the Bruins.

On Thursday night, the Calgary Flames made a sizeable deal with the Philadelphia Flyers. They sent Jakob Pelletier, Andrei Kuzmenko, their 2025 second-round pick, and their 2028 seventh-round pick for Morgan Frost and Joel Farabee.
