A new prescribed burn, called View 88, was initiated 3:10 p.m. Nov. 12 in Amador County. The prescribed fire has been burning on federal land managed by the United States Forest Service for 24 hours.
Mountain Fire initially started 8:51 a.m. Nov. 6 in Ventura County. It has burned 20,630 acres after being active for a week.
