The 18 new castaways are about to hit the beach and play a game filled with hardship, lack of food, exposure to the elements, deception and betrayal.

Season 48 of “Survivor” is set to debut with a two-hour premiere episode on Wednesday, February 26, at 8 p.m., airing on CBS and streaming live on Paramount+. Following the premiere, 90-minute episodes will air weekly beginning March 5.

Season 48 will follow the 18 castaways as they attempt to survive the elements and each other while stranded on picturesque but remote islands of Fiji. The players, who will be divided into three tribes of six, must navigate physical challenges and tenuous social alliances in the hope of becoming the Sole Survivor and winning $1 million.

As usual, this year’s roster includes a deluge of unique and diverse voices, and they will initially be divided into three separate tribes where they’ll compete for immunity and/or reward. At the end of each episode,
