Manchester City have bolstered their attacking options by signing Egyptian forward Omar Marmous h from Eintracht Frankfurt for a fee in the region of €70million (£59m) to €75m, plus bonuses.
Egypt forward Omar Marmoush, the second highest scorer in the Bundesliga this season, has agreed a contract until 2029.
Giggs, then an analyst for Uefa, saw Marmoush at an under-17s tournament in Dubai and told an agent about him, who alerted Pierre Littbarski, head of scouting at Wolfsburg. "Marmoush was really fast at that time, took a lot of risks, was technically strong and did some surprising things." Littbarski said later. "He was an uncut diamond."
Manchester City has taken its spending this week to around $150 million by signing Egypt forward Omar Marmoush from Eintracht Frankfurt in a move that provides some belated back-up to star striker Erling Haaland.
