Trevoh Chalobah could return from injury just in time for the first leg of Chelsea's UEFA Conference League round of 16 tie against Copenhagen

Chelsea centre back Trevoh Chalobah will be out of action for at least a week after picking up an injury during the weekend's 2-1 Premier League loss at Aston Villa, manager Enzo Maresca said on Monday.

Tosin Adarabioyo was summoned to replace the stricken Chalobah, as Chelsea let a 1-0 lead slip to fall to a 2-1 loss to the Lions, who cancelled out Enzo Fernandez 's opener through an Asensio double.

Chelsea earned a rare away win as they beat Copenhagen 2-1 in the Conference League. The narrow last-16 victory is the first positive result for Enzo Maresca’s side since they got the better of Astana in this competition in December.

Maresca added: "Cole gets excited even to play training sessions, so he's always happy to play games. It was planned [to add him at this stage].
