One-time Hollywood mogul Harvey Weinstein will face a retrial on sexual misconduct charges on April 15 in New York, a judge said Wednesday.

Harvey Weinstein begged a Manhattan judge to move up his sexual assault retrial on Wednesday morning, with the disgraced film producer pleading he may not be around much longer due to his poor health.

The former Hollywood studio head will be retried for his 2020 sexual assault conviction after an appeals court overturned it in 2024. Weinstein also faces additional sex crimes charges.
