People in the north Highlands could be able to fly to Edinburgh next year under a proposed expansion of the subsidised air service at Wick John O' Groats Airport. Eastern Airways entered administration in November, grounding regular flights between Wick and Aberdeen.
Flight BA1300 left London at 6.35am and was set to land in Aberdeen at 8.10am. However the flight diverted to the Scottish capital and landed around 8.40am
