After five years of planning and 27 months of preparation, the way has been cleared for railroad cars to begin rolling into the Hershey rail park.
The 300-acre Hershey rail park has been designated the first Union Pacific “focus site” in Nebraska, according to a press release.
Nebraska’s Hersey Rail Park, to be served by Union Pacific (UP), has its first tenant, and bids are expected soon for a railcar mover, two transloaders, and a scale, according to local media reports.
