Meta is reportedly gearing up to start showing ads on its newest social media platform, Threads, in early 2025.

Meta could bring ads to Threads as soon as next year, according to a report from The Information. As part of its plan, Threads will reportedly allow a small number of advertisers to make and publish ads in January.

With X users flocking to alternatives after the US election, it may not be the worst time for Threads to cash in. 'At the end of the day, we're a business,' Instagram Head Adam Mosseri said in April.
