The grocery chain said its “Rich and Creamy Vanilla Ice Cream” may contain an undeclared egg allergen. The recalled ice cream may also contain a mismatched “French Vanilla” container lid. The product is sold in half-gallon containers and has a sell-by date of June 19, 2026.

“People who have an allergy or severe sensitivity to eggs may run the risk of serious or life-threatening allergic reactions if they consume this product,” Publix’s recall announcement said Tuesday.
