Wearing the new Club World Cup winners badge, Chelsea was held to a scoreless draw at home against Crystal Palace, looking less than lively in their opening match. West Ham, which has spent more than $90 million to upgrade the team this summer, was crushed 3-0 by newly-promoted Sunderland.

West Ham United take on Chelsea on Friday, Aug. 22, at the London Stadium, with kickoff set for 8 p.m. BST. That makes it a 3 p.m. ET or 12 p.m. PT start in the US and Canada, and an 5 a.m. AEST kickoff in Australia in the early hours of Saturday morning.

Chelsea went down early at West Ham but responded with vigor through a quintet of goal scorers led by Joao Pedro on Friday at the London Stadium.
