Rory McIlroy and Bryson DeChambeau have battled at the end in two recent major championships, with one winning each of them.

The second golf major of the season is right around the corner, as the 2025 PGA Championship begins on Thursday at Quail Hollow Club in Charlotte. World No. 1 Scottie Scheffler picked up his first win of the season at the CJ Cup last week and joins Rory McIlroy atop the 2025 PGA Championship odds at +500.

McIlroy comes into Quail Hollow with wins at The Players Championship and Masters and top-20 finishes at every appearance on the PGA Tour in 2025. Scottie Scheffler doesn't have the extensive course history that McIlroy does at Quail Hollow.
