A Winter Weather Advisory is in place for the Kansas City metro with several inches of snow expected in the Kansas City metro today.
TOPEKA (KSNT) – Snow is blanketing much of Kansas the week after Thanksgiving. The National Weather Service is reporting early snowfall totals for Monday, Dec. 1 from areas across Kansas. Many areas have reportedly collected between 1-2 inches of snow.
The Kansas City metro is experiencing its first snowfall of the 2025 winter weather season, leaving city and state workers busy as they work to clear the roads Monday morning.
City of Overland Park spokesperson Meg Ralph said the new tool is designed to better track and communicate the progress of snow plowing operations in the city.
