Vice President JD Vance plans to visit Michigan on Wednesday, where he will discuss President Donald Trump's "Big Beautiful Bill" and tax cuts at a manufacturing plant in Howell.

LIVINGSTON COUNTY, MI - The last time Gabriel Wiechert saw Vice President J.D. Vance in Michigan, it was at a Grand Rapids rally the week after the attempted assassination of President Donald Trump.

Jimmy Kimmel called out Vice President JD Vance for a claim he made this week while filling in as podcast host for Charlie Kirk, who was shot and killed in Utah last week. Vance, he said, “pointed his little mascara-stained finger directly at the left,” then rolled footage of the vice president making a wild claim.

After almost three weeks, Vance has yet to respond to the Democrat or any of his personal jabs. Newsom, however, hasn’t slowed down on his attacks on him or Trump: On Tuesday (Sep. 16), the governor called out Trump on X, saying he should “take your dementia meds, grandpa.”
