Design software business Figma Inc. filed Tuesday for what could be one of the year’s biggest initial public offerings.San Francisco-based Figma is planning to go public as soon as this month, said a person familiar with the company’s plans who asked not to be identified because the information wasn’t public yet.

Less than two years after agreeing with Adobe to call off plans for a megadeal, Figma has filed IPO paperwork and could embrace Wall Street in its own right.

Figma disclosed higher revenue and profit for the quarter ended March 31, as the cloud-based designer platform prepares to list on the NYSE more than a year after its $20 billion planned sale to Adobe was scrapped.
