Sebastien Bourdais captured the pole position for the Battle at the Bricks, putting the No. 01 Cadillac Racing Cadillac V-Series.R atop the starting grid for the six-hour race at Indianapolis Motor Speedway.

After IMSA’s return to Indianapolis Motor Speedway in 2023, this year’s event features an elongated version of the race, now a six-hour headliner for the penultimate weekend of 2024. There are a few new pairings for the weekend,

Bourdais’s lap of 1:14.592 was enough to give him his first pole in nearly two dozen races at IMS between IndyCar and sports cars.

There are 56 cars entered across the four top categories in the race, which will begin at 11:40 a.m. on the 14-turn, 2.39-mile road course. Peacock has flag-to-flag coverage with NBC joining at 3 p.m.
