L ocal leaders from Chicago's western suburbs gathered outside a Broadview, Illinois U.S. Immigration and Customs Enforcement processing center Monday, decrying the actions of federal agents and demanding the removal of a riot fence outside the facility.
DHS wrote in a press release: "George Retes—a U.S. citizen—became violent and refused to comply with law enforcement. He challenged agents and blocked their route by refusing to move his vehicle out of the road. CBP arrested Retes for assault."
