The International Federation of Football Association (FIFA) has lifted the ban on the Pakistan Football Federation (PFF) following the successful constitutional amendments.The ban was revoked after the PFF Congress approved FIFA's proposed amendments to the federation's constitution during an Extraordinary Congress session held in Lahore last week.

Pakistan is set to rejoin international soccer in time for Asian Cup qualifiers later this month after FIFA lifted a ban it imposed on Feb. 6. The Pakistan Football Federation was last month hit by a third international suspension in less than eight years after rejecting FIFA’s recommended amendments to its constitution.

FIFA, the international governing body of football, has officially lifted its suspension on Pakistan Football following the successful PFF Congress, where FIFA-recommended amendments were approved. The Pakistan football community has been celebrating this momentous achievement.
