Monday was a big day for Duke star Cooper Flagg as he learned of his (likely) future home for the foreseeable future. To start the day at the NBA Draft Combine he measured nearly an inch taller than he did before his one-and-done Blue Devils season.
Lord willing, Cooper Flagg will become a Maverick six weeks from today. Among many upsides to owning the first pick of a draft with a consensus best player is the ability to speak and plan with virtual absolutes.
Even with the likely No. 1 pick guarantee, Flagg still made his way to Chicago for the NBA draft combine. On Tuesday, the players got to show off their hops, where the 6-foot-9 forward recorded a 35.5-inch max vertical leap.
