The Jayhawks, his team for the past 14 years, honored the iconic assistant coach with an Instagram post on Monday.
The Kansas Jayhawks have been well recognized for having a world-class college basketball program under the leadership of head coach Bill Self for the past several years. Self recently led the Jayhawks to another NCAA Tournament trip, suffering a loss to Arkansas in the first round.

It was a tough 2024-25 season for Kansas and hoops analysts aren't taking it easy on Bill Self's team in the offseason.
“Corbin will be a nice addition to our program,” Self said Tuesday. “He had a great high school career at Oak Park and has been well coached by our own Kansas alum Sherron Collins. We feel Corbin can be a contributor in time and we look forward to helping him develop and watching his progress.”
