Bomb threat at H-E-B; police detain 1 person
AUSTIN, Texas - The Austin Police Department says it has detained one person after investigating a bomb threat at an H-E-B. The incident happened at the H-E-B located at 7301 North FM 620 Road. Police say when they arrived at the scene they located one unoccupied suspicious vehicle within the parking lot.
Bomb threat outside northwest Austin H-E-B was direct result of another incident, police say
Police said the man, identified as 44-year-old Gerard Hayes, was later arrested at an unidentified location. Meanwhile, police also said Friday's bomb threat was a direct result of an incident involving Hayes two days ago, but didn't elaborate on what the incident was.
